On aurait pu croire que le confinement m'inciterait à bloguer davantage (d'autant qu'il y avait eu une petite embellie en début d'année - un peu aidée par le Covid, certes, mais pas que), mais il n'en a rien été. En partie parce que j'ai préféré commencer sérieusement à dépiler une bonne partie de tous les trucs que j'avais pu bookmarker à droite et à gauche (Pocket, Feedly, Twitter, LinkedIn ...) au cours des années. Du coup je suis retombé sur cette perle de Kasparov, qui gagne clairement sa place dans la rubrique Astro :

I think it's important that people recognize the element of inevitability. When I hear outcry that AI is rushing in and destroying our lives, that it's so fast, I say no, no, it's too slow. Every technology destroys jobs before creating jobs. When you look at the statistics, only 4 percent of jobs in the US require human creativity. That means 96 percent of jobs, I call them zombie jobs. They're dead, they just don’t know it.
For several decades we have been training people to act like computers, and now we are complaining that these jobs are in danger. Of course they are. We have to look for opportunities to create jobs that will emphasize our strengths. Technology is the main reason why so many of us are still alive to complain about technology. It's a coin with two sides. I think it's important that, instead of complaining, we look at how we can move forward faster.
